Colorado for Life Response to the Passage of Deceptively-Titled “Reproductive Health Equity Act”
Against the will of Coloradans across the state who contacted their elected officials, Polis and the radical abortion extremists in our state legislature have ignored us yet again. Polis signed HB 1279 into law on April 4, 2022.
This means that
The preborn have no legal rights under Colorado law
Abortion tourism will increase, resulting in the murder of preborn babies from all over the country taking place here in Colorado
Babies will lose their lives simply because of a disability, or for being the “wrong” gender or race
More babies will lose their lives who could otherwise survive outside of the womb
If Roe v. Wade is overturned, abortion will remain legal, protected, and celebrated in Colorado.
This also means that we can no longer stay on the sidelines. The people who passed this bill love abortion so much they won’t stop until they pass a CO constitutional amendment, enshrining abortion as a constitutional right.
We can’t let them do that.
Instead, we must expose their radicalism and force them to defend why they support abortion when a woman is pregnant with a girl but wanted a boy.
They must be forced to explain why preborn babies with diagnoses of disability deserve to die.
We must force them to defend why babies of the “wrong” gender can be killed without a second thought.
It’s not enough to fight during the legislative season. We must make them pay during the election season as well.
To do that, I need you to join us today.
Colorado for Life is a small, volunteer-driven team with big plans for Colorado. We envision a day when ALL life is valued and protected from the ravenous abortion industry and our politicians who do its bidding.
But we can’t get there without you.
To expose the radicalism that has taken over our state, we need your support.
Primaries are coming up soon, and we need to make sure the politicians who run on the pro-life platform will actually lead on the pro-life issue when they take office.
We need to make sure our pro-life leaders are equipped to take on this fight when they get to Denver or Washington, DC.
We need to train leaders at the grassroots level all over Colorado who are ready to rally and drive petitions and initiatives in their communities.
